Alexander joined FTVentures in 2007 and is a Vice President with investment responsibilities in software. Prior to joining FTVentures, Alexander was with Sequoia Capital, where he focused on private equity investments in capital markets technology businesses. Previously, Alexander worked at Summit Partners, where he sourced and closed transactions totaling over $500 million of investment capital and served as a board member of Vision Care Holdings. Alexander began his career at Goldman Sachs and received a BA cum laude from Dartmouth College.
